Membership Eligibility
TAMN has six membership categories. Find the one that matches your qualifications and career stage.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a doctoral student admitted to candidacy in a Management Sciences programme at a recognised university
- Student membership is for a maximum duration of 5 years
- Applications must be supported by a letter from the candidate's supervisor or head of department
Fees

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet at least one of the following:
- Hold a doctorate degree in Management Sciences or a related field from a recognised university
- Be a tenured Professor at a recognised university (with or without a doctorate degree)
- Be an Executive Director of a quoted company with a minimum of a bachelor's degree

Eligibility Criteria
Fellowship is by election — candidates must meet all of the following:
- Must have been an active member of TAMN for a minimum of 5 years
- Must have been a tenured Professor for a minimum of 7 years
- Must be elected by the Executive Committee and the Board of Fellows
- Must be financially up-to-date with all dues at the time of election
Fellows are entitled to use the post-nominal designation FTAMN.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must already be a Fellow (FTAMN) of the Academy
- Must have retired from active university service
- Must be financially up-to-date with all dues at the time of retirement
- Life Fellow status is granted automatically upon meeting the above criteria
Life Fellows are not charged annual dues. They retain all the privileges of Fellowship.
Eligibility Criteria
- Distinguished management practitioners who have made exceptional contributions to Management Sciences in Nigeria
- Minimum qualification: tenured Professor or Chief Executive Officer of a quoted company
- Honorary Fellowship is conferred by the Academy — it cannot be applied for
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be one of the following:
- A university or tertiary institution offering doctorate degree programmes in Management Sciences
- A recognised research institution in Management Sciences
- A management development institution

Cessation of Membership
Cessation of Membership
The Annual General Meeting may, by simple majority, delist a member who:
- Fails to meet financial obligations for a consecutive period of three years (36 months)
- Fails to attend five consecutive Annual General Meetings
- Is found guilty of acts detrimental to the fundamental interests of the Academy
Cessation of Fellowship
A Fellow may be derobed by AGM simple majority for:
- Failure to meet financial obligations for 36 consecutive months
- Failure to attend five consecutive AGMs
- Acts detrimental to the Academy's fundamental interests
A derobed Fellow simultaneously loses membership of the Academy.
